Ramban, Oct 3: Department of Computer Applications in collaboration with Skill Committee of GDC Ramban organized Awareness programme and registration derive for JK Samadhan and JK Sehat initiatives in accordance with the instructions issued by worthy District Development Commisioner Ramban. In his inaugural address, Prof. Satish Kumar, Principal, stressed on the importance of online initiatives of the Government which have been undertaken for the welfare of the people.
The resource persons for todays programme were Prof. Aditya Sharma, HOD Computer Applications, Dr.Anuj Gupta, HOD Geography and Dr. Vishal Baloria, HOD History. The resource persons discussed various aspects of JKSamadhan and JK Health initiatives.
They explained the use and features of these services and also illustrated the steps required to register on these platforms. Thereafter, a drive for the on-spot registration of students on these two platforms was started. Further, the students were also asked to register their family and friends at home. The event concluded with the vote of thanks by Prof. Arjun Gupta. Other dignitaries who were present included Prof. Raj Kumar Gupta, HOD Chemistry and Prof. Sanjay Kumar Katal, HOD Physics.
