Rajouri, Oct 3: The Indian Army proudly announced the commencement of the Late Hav Harendra Singh Rawat Cricket Tournament at Thanamandi, Rajouri. The tournament, being held from 29 September to 09 October 2025, aims to foster sportsmanship, competitive spirit and camaraderie among local youth as part of Operation Sadbhavana. On 03 Oct 2025, the tournament witnessed its fourth day of matches, drawing a large gathering of enthusiastic spectators. The day featured an electrifying clash between Thanamandi Sports and Rajdhani Cricket Club versus Chinar Cricket Club, enthralling the audience with outstanding cricketing performances. The event not only provides a platform for youth to showcase their sporting talent and skills, but also plays a vital role in promoting unity, strengthening community bonds and nurturing future talent. Tea and snacks were served to all invitees and players, while a total of 85 spectators attended the matche, enjoying the day with great enthusiasm.
