Jammu, Oct 3: The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Jammu & Kashmir Masters Games Association was held today with enthusiasm and a strong sense of purpose, bringing together senior sports leaders and officials to strengthen the sporting ecosystem across the Union Territory.
The meeting was presided over by Ranjit Singh Chib, Retired SSP and President of the Association. A former captain of the Indian handball team and a legendary sports figure, Chib delivered an inspiring address that set the tone for the discussions. “Sports is not merely about winning medals—it is about discipline, dedication, and determination. I urge the people of Jammu & Kashmir to step forward with passion and commitment. Through sports, we can build stronger minds, healthier bodies, and a united society,” he said.
Neete Kour, General Secretary of the Association and recent captain of the Indian women’s handball team at the 2025 World Masters Games in Taipei, also addressed the gathering. She emphasized the need to believe in oneself and nurture local talent. “Success comes when you are focused, fearless, and determined.
