Jammu, Oct 3: Pinegrove School hosted its Annual Awards Ceremony on October 1, 2025, celebrating the achievements of students in academics, activities and sports. The event was graced by Air Marshal Manavendra Singh, PVSM, AVSM, VrC, VSM (Retd.) as Chief Guest, along with Maj Gen (Dr) Rambir Singh Mann (Retd.), VSM and Maj Gen Himanshu Bhatnagar, Chief Signal Officer, Western Command as Guests of Honour. 'School Honour for Academics' were presented to CBSE Class XII and X toppers and students scoring 95% and above. Vishesh won the Conchie Shield for Science, while Suyash Bansal and Dherya Sharma bagged the Peddler’s Trophy for Commerce and Humanities. The Apache Trophy for Class X Topper was awarded to Yuvraj Singla, and proficiency medals were presented to class toppers across grades. 'School Honours’ were awarded for exemplary performance in Inter School Tournaments and various types Activities - Oration, MUN, Music (Keyboard, Percussion, Strings, Vocal), IT, Band, Sculpture, Art, Craft, Dance, Photography and Sports – Cricket, Soccer, Basketball, Table Tennis, Badminton, Shooting, Gymnastics and NCC. Diamond Stars were awarded for exemplary behaviour and discipline. Among the special awards, Poorvi Soni and Adritya Roy received the Pidilite Trophy for Art & Craft, while Shubh Agarwal and Akshay Jain won the Artrac Trophy for IT. The Quantum Trophy for Best Students was conferred on Arpit Sharma and Riquezza Diwan (Dharampur) and Rushaan Mehtaani and Vedanshi Bundela (Subathu). In the fiercely contested Inter-House Competitions, Deodar House (Dharampur) and Chinar House (Subathu) emerged triumphant, clinching the coveted title of Champion House across both campuses. Further heightening the excitement, the newly instituted prestigious Tri-Services Trophy for Leadership and Discipline, presented by the Officers of the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force from the 61-NDA, 71-IMA and equivalent batches as a gesture of deep affection and admiration to Pinegrove School was lifted by Oak House (Dharampur) and Teak House (Subathu) for their outstanding discipline and leadership. The celebration also honoured the dedication and loyalty of the School fraternity, as all Heads, Teaching Staff and Support Staff completing over 20 years and over 30 years of distinguished and exemplary service were felicitated with a certificate of recognition and a token of appreciation and gratitude, acknowledging their invaluable contribution to the school’s journey and legacy. The grand event culminated in a spectacular showcase of cultural performances, drawing thunderous applause from parents and distinguished guests. |
