Sikh United Front strongly condemns Pakistan's brutal killings in PoK | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 3: An emergency meeting of Sikh United Front J&K along with other various Sikh organizations J&K, held under the chairmanship of S.Sudershan Singh Wazir in which Sikh United Front expresses its strongest condemnation of the cold-blooded killings and violent crackdown carried out by Pakistan's security forces against innocent protesters in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). Mr Wazir held that since the past week, multiple civilians and local activists have been shot dead, and hundreds injured, simply for raising their voices against the Pakistan government oppression and demands for basic services in POK region. This bloodshed is yet another reminder that POK has been kept as a colony under military boot in Pakistan, Instead of addressing the genuine demands of the people, Pakistan's government and its army have chosen violence, intimidation, and state terror said Wazir. Exposing the brutal terror of Pakistan's forces Wazir held that people of POK are not only being harassed but killed by the Pakistan's government and the forces,as those people want independence from Pakistan, Wazir welcomed their decision and appealed the government of India to put pressure on Pakistan via international diplomatic channels and annex POK so that it can join India and Jammu & Kashmir as POK has always been the integral part of India and 24 assembly seats of J&K assembly are still reserved for POK which India will take for sure as the same has been reiterated in parliament by government of India multiple times. Other Sikh organization while reiterating their solidarity with oppressed people of POK calls upon the civil society, and international human rights defenders to raise their voices against Pakistan's injustice so that the cries of the people of POK must not be unheard. |
