JAMMU, Oct 2: J.P. World School came alive with colour, music, and tradition as it hosted the much-anticipated Dandiya Night 2025, an evening that radiated the true spirit of Navratri.
With an overwhelming crowd of more than 500 attendees, the campus transformed into a vibrant hub of joy, cultural splendour, and togetherness.
The grand celebration was graced by eminent dignitaries whose inspiring presence elevated the evening. The institution was privileged to welcome Mr. Bashir Ahmed Munshi, Additional District and Sessions Judge, as the Chief Guest.
The event also saw the gracious presence of Mrs. and Mr. Ashok Manhas Ji and other esteemed members of the management, whose guidance and encouragement added immense dignity to the occasion.Further amplifying the aura of the event, several noted social media influencers and public figures joined the celebration, bringing a glamorous edge to the already high-spirited gathering.
The evening unfurled with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, Ravan Dahan, and the felicitation of distinguished guests—an auspicious beginning that set the tone for what followed.
The audience was left enthralled by an array of cultural performances including breathtaking dance act by an invited professional troupe, energetic group dances by the students, showcasing youthful vibrancy, an adorable Fancy Dress competition with a delightful modeling show by the youngest performers and the much-awaited fashion spectacle, Sabhyata Season 3, where elegance blended seamlessly with tradition.
The ramp came alive with charisma, crowned by the showstoppers Ms. Mehak Mahajan and Mr. Ashish Gupta, whose presence drew enormous applause.
The highlight of the night, of course, was the spirited rounds of Dandiya. The grounds pulsated with rhythmic beats, laughter, and the sound of clashing sticks as students, parents, staff, and guests danced together in harmony, symbolizing the unity of traditions across generations.
Adding to the festivity, lively stalls lined the school campus, offering a variety of delectable cuisines, shopping delights, and engaging games. These vibrant corners became an epicenter of fun, ensuring every guest had something to cherish.
