| NC demands relief for Falian Mandal Gujjars | | | Early Times Report
Jammu May 11- A team of National Conference leaders led by Rattan Lal Gupta Provincial President Jammu province and comprising Tarlochan Singh Wazir and Javed Rana MLCs and others visited Karnale Chack in Phalain Mandal area of district Jammu to ascertain the facts that led to the unfortunate incident in which 31 Kullas of Gujjars were gutted.
The party leaders interacted with the aggrieved families and gave patient hearing to the aggrieved families who apprised them about the facts. They expressed concern over the incident. They termed it as unfortunate and gave patient hearing to the aggrieved families
The aggrieved families demanded that the first installment of the compensation assessed by the government be provided to the affected families on priority. They also demanded that immediate arrangement for their rehabilitation be made and till by that time 31 Nos tents be provided to the affected families.
The NC leaders assured them that their demands would be taken up with the government for immediate redressal. Meanwhile the visiting NC team urged the administration to provide two months free ration to the affected families.
