NSS SMVDU organises charts distribution, nukkad natak at Govt School | | |  early times report
Jammu, Oct 5: The NSS Unit of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) distributed educational charts meant for classroom learning at Govt. High School, Sirah (Kakryal, Panthal block) under the campaign Sewa Parv. These charts were shared to support general education. They included basic concepts helping to make learning easier and more fun for young students. Volunteers also donated some working models for better learning of students in classroom. Volunteers also organized a Nukkad Natak (street play) as part of the 'Swacchata Hi Sewa " to aware students on the harmful effects of single use plastic and waste segregation rules. The performance aimed to spread awareness about cleanliness and environmental responsibility among students and local residents through street theatre. The volunteers used the play to share important messages about keeping our surroundings clean, managing waste properly and working together to build a healthier environment. The act drew the attention of the audience and delivered its message in a lively and impactful way. The event received a positive response and inspired everyone to contribute towards building a cleaner society. NSS Programme coordinator Dr. Rajiv Kumar also attended the event. School authorities thanked NSS SMVDU team for organizing the play and charts distribution.
