Chandigarh, Oct 5: To commemorate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Library of Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women organised an engaging Book Hunt Competition. The event sought to promote the joy of reading while encouraging students to explore the life, philosophy, and teachings of the Father of the Nation. Participants enthusiastically searched for books related to Mahatma Gandhi’s life, works, and ideologies, making the competition both intellectually stimulating and interactive. The winners were felicitated with certificates and prizes in recognition of their commendable enthusiasm and performance. Enhancing the celebration’s scope, the college also collaborated with the Ramakrishna Mission Mobile Library Van- Vivek Vahini, which was stationed on campus.
