Jammu, Oct 5: Dr Anila singh charak a renowned poetess, gazalkar and vyangyakar has been awarded mahadevi verma Smriti samman for her book "Rishton ke bheege akhbar" gazal sangrah ,the book has been selected at all India level for exemplary gazals , style and depth of thouhts and versatility in the subject, other seven writers won award for story ,upanyas and bal sahitya ,nibandh etc. The programmw was organised by Akhil hindi sahitya sabha

(U.p) ,the chief guest on the occasion was chief justice sudhir Narayan who is himself a senior writer and artist the other guest was district judge shri Rajkumar verma presented the awards ,after award ceremony a grand kavi sammellan was organised ,Dr charak also presented her gazal which mesmerized the audience and won thunderous applause.
Dr charak has also exhibited her solo paintings at national and intetnational level which which has been highly appreciated , apart from playing cricket at national level she has been a T.v news reader and ,radio drama artist and anchor in children programme.
Apart from these achievements she has also worked as principal for 25 years in NVS nud jammu and in AEES under DAE(BARC) Govt of India ..
Her has got his english poetry book published titled
Dr Anila has won innumerable awards previously also at national and international level and has brought laurels to jammu and kashmir for presenting extra ordinary work in hindi and English literature, she had about 17 books at her credit which comprise poetry, gazal , Satire and bal sahitya ,she gas been widely acclaimed and honored at world level ,
