Udhampur police solves theft case, accused arrested, recovers stolen electronic gadgets | | |  early times report
Udhampur, Oct 5: Continuing its efforts to curb theft-related crimes, Udhampur Police has successfully solved one more theft case reported from Government Middle School Khudan Neela (Zone Tikri). An FIR No. 155/2025 U/S 305(a), 331(4) BNS was registered at Police Station Rehambal on 04.10.2025 on the written complaint of one Sham Lal Sharma (School Teacher) S/O Hem Raj R/O Mananu, Sunari regarding theft of electronic items from the school by unknown persons. During the course of investigation, Police team of PS Rehambal arrested two accused persons namely: Siat Mohd @ Sajad Mohd S/O Gulzar Mohd R/O Sunari, Hartaryan, Udhampur Asquer Ali S/O Manzoor Ahmed R/O Chal Rakhwal, Udhampur On sustained questioning, both accused confessed their involvement in the theft and disclosed that they had stolen a laptop, speakers, and an extension board from the said school during the midnight of 28th September 2025. On their disclosure, the stolen electronic items worth approximately ₹70,000 were recovered by the police team.
