Vinod Sharma files nomination form for rhe post of UT President | | |  early times report
Jammu, Oct 5: Jammu Kashmir Teachers'Joint Action Committee ( JKTJAC) organised a meeting under the leadership of District Senior Vice President Pritam Goswami at Udhampur today on 05.10.2025 . The meeting was attended by the executive members of JKTJAC. While speaking on the occasion Mr Pritam Goswami raised various issues of the teaching fraternity which include:- 1. Release of pending Mid Day Meals dues for more than 8 months. 2. Comprehensive Transfer policy for teachers appointed under ReT scheme 3. Regularisation of left out ReTs and conversion of RRETs to Teachers Grade II /III 4. Completion of service records of teachers at zonal level. 5. DPC of teachers to masters . Meanwhile from the meeting site delegates of JKTJAC in the form of procession went to the designated office of JKTJAC Election Commission Member at Krishna Palace Udhampur where Ex UT President Vinod Sharma filed the nomination form for the post of UT President on the recommendation of Executive members of JKTJAC from whole UT . It's pertinent to mention that JKTJAC has constituted Election Commission for holding elections for the posts of UT President, UT Chairman and UT General Secretary. Today being the last date of filing nominations, Mr Vinod Sharma filed the same. Election if required will be held at two polling stations, one at Jammu and other at Srinagar on 12.10.2025 . Vinod Sharma after filing nomination for the post of UT President assured the JKTJAC members that he will work with dedication and devotion for the welfare of the students and teaching fraternity . He also assured to be bridge between the teachers and the department for raising genuine issues.
