IGNOU extends the last date for submission of Examination Forms and assignments for December 2025 TEE | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 6: IGNOU has extended the last date for submission of online examination forms to appear in the December 2025 Term-end examination till 20th October, 2025 without Late Fee. From 21st October, 2025 onwards, a Late Fee component of Rs.1100/- will be applicable till 26th of October, 2025. The Examination Form fee is INR 200 per course. The examination form shall be submitted through the Student Portal on SAMARTH Platform and students are required to login to their student account at http://exam.ignou.ac.in. If the student is already registered on the portal, he/she may login to submit the examination form. In case the student is not yet registered, he/she is required to first register on the portal by clicking on NEW REGISTRATION and subsequently following the instructions. The examinations are likely to commence from 1st December 2025 till 8th January, 2026. The Hall Tickets/Admit Cards will be released in November 2025, and it is important to note that the provided date sheet is tentative and subject to minor changes. The Exam Centre will be allotted on the first come first serve basis and in case the sitting capacity at the chosen exam centre is full, the learners may opt for the nearest/alternate exam centre. The University reserves the right to reschedule/cancel examinations/papers at any time in all the Examination Centre across the Country or in any particular Examination Centre/ State due to any exigency or any other reasons. The University has also extended the last date for submission of assignments till 31st October, 2025 for the December Term end exam 2025 for all programmes. University accepts assignments for all programmes to appear in the December 2025 TEE. The assignments form an important component in the courses of programme completion as they carry 30% weightage of the total marks/grades. "The LSCs have been directed to facilitate the learners by way of accommodating their assignments so that the learners do not have to suffer on this account", said Dr. Sandeep Gupta, Regional Director. "In view of filling the examination form through SAMARTH Portal, no request for change of examination centre will be entertained and the course/s once opted will not be changed after the examination form has been submitted online. Students must therefore go through instructions and exercise caution while submitting the examination form online", said Dr. Sandeep Gupta, Regional Director, IGNOU Regional Centre Jammu. |
