Tawi Welfare Society hosts grand felicitation ceremony for meritorious students

JAMMU, Oct 8: Tawi Welfare Society, in collaboration with Gandhi Global Family J&K, organized a grand felicitation ceremony for meritorious students of Classes 10, 11, and 12 from the Tawi Island area. The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Sanjeev Verma, IAS, Chief Electoral Officer J&K, who was the Chief Guest of the function.
A total of 45 outstanding students were felicitated, acknowledging their hard work and dedication to their studies. The Chief Guest lauded the Society's efforts in organizing the program, emphasizing the importance of nurturing young minds and encouraging them to reach new heights. Verma also praised the Society's tireless work for the welfare of underprivileged people and assured his full support to the Organization.
The ceremony was attended by dignitaries, including Padmashree Dr. S.P. Verma, President of Gandhi Global Family J&K; Lieutenant General Rakesh Sharma (Retd.), President Ex-Serviceman League; Athira Jamwal, Tehsildar Mandal; S. Taran Singh, Vice President of GGF; and Amarjeet Kour, Former Sarpanch, who motivated the students with their valuable speeches. The event was attended by a large number of people, including parents of the students, who expressed their gratitude towards the Society for recognizing their children's achievements.
