| Childline hold meet with CDPO | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, MAY 12: ‘Childline’ a national 24 hour free phone emergency service for children in need of care and protection hold a meeting with Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) Jammu and discussed the activities of childline in the city of temples. The meeting was told that if any child in need of assistance could dial 1098 for the redressal of his/her problem. It was also discussed that network could be created involving Anaganwadi workers, Childline team members and other volunteers so that benefit could each to the needy children under the scheme introduced by the ministry of Women and Child Development Government of India. Childline team headed by O P Gupta, co-ordinator had open discussion on the subject and the CDPO and other participants ensured full co-operation for strengthening the network.
