YRS honours BCCI president Mithun Manhas, call him "Pride Of Dogra" | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 9: Members of the Yuva Rajput Sabha (YRS) on Thursday met and felicitated newly appointed BCCI President Mithun Manhas, hailing him as the "Son of the Soil" and a source of pride for the people of Jammu. The YRS delegation, led by its President Sanjeev Singh (Rinku), honoured Manhas during a meeting in Jammu and lauded his remarkable journey from the cricketing arena to the highest administrative post in Indian cricket. Speaking on the occasion, YRS President Sanjeev Singh said, "We are extremely proud of Mithun Manhas. His achievement is not only a proud moment for the Rajput community but also for the entire Dogra community. He has made Jammu shine on the national stage." YRS core committee member Surinder Singh Gilli reiterated the long-pending demand for establishing an international cricket stadium in Jammu, saying that the region's young talent deserves world-class infrastructure. Vishal Singh Langeh, former spokesperson and YRS member, also lauded Manhas's achievement. "I appreciate his success and firmly believe that under his guidance, Jammu's budding cricketers will get new opportunities. He will prove to be a great mentor for the youth," he said. Sunil Sharma, President of Umeed Ek Kiran Foundation J&K and YRS member, along with members Roshan Singh, Sunil Singh, and Gulzar Singh, were also present on the occasion. All the members who honoured Mithun Manhas expressed high hopes from him, saying that under his leadership and guidance, the young and talented youth of Jammu and Kashmir will achieve new heights and make a mark at the national level. |
