The meeting, held with the objective of evaluating on-ground implementation and identifying potential bottlenecks, was attended by Chief Engineer, Jal Shakti Department, senior departmental officers and district-level officers from the these South Kashmir districts. The review also focused on accelerating the delivery of clean and reliable drinking water to every household in line with the vision of equitable and sustainable water access under the Jal Jeevan Mission.
During the meeting, the Minister reaffirmed the commitment of Omar Abdullah led government to ensure access to safe and clean drinking water for all its citizens.
He underscored the importance of robust monitoring systems and effective execution strategies to meet mission objectives within stipulated timelines.
