Tejinder appealed youth to remain vigilant against the growing menace of drug abuse | | | early times report
Ramnagar, Oct 13: Tejinder Pal Singh Aman, Provincial President of the Youth National Conference (YNC), Jammu, today attended a one-day youth convention at Ramnagar in District Udhampur Rural, organised by Akash Kharka District President YNC Udhampur Rural. The convention witnessed enthusiastic participation from the local youth, who voiced several pressing concerns affecting the District Udhampur Rural youth from remote areas of Ramnagar and Basantgarh participated in strength. During the interaction, the youth prominently raised the long-standing demand for a local sports stadium and expressed serious concerns regarding rising unemployment. Responding to their issues, Tejinder Pal Singh Aman assured the gathering that he would take up these matters with Hon’ble Cabinet Minister Satish Sharma Ji for prompt attention and redressal. Another critical issue brought to light was the plight of flood-affected families in the region. Affected youth and locals sought relief and assistance for those severely impacted. Tejinder Pal Singh Aman gave a firm assurance that he would personally convey these concerns to Hon’ble Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Sahib, for timely intervention and necessary support. Speaking on the occasion, Aman also appealed to the youth to remain vigilant against the growing menace of drug abuse. He urged them to become torchbearers of social responsibility by extending a helping hand to flood-affected families in their area. “The youth of Jammu and Kashmir have always stood resilient in the face of adversity. Under the leadership of Omar Abdullah Sahib, our party has consistently prioritised youth empowerment, skill development, and grassroots participation. We are committed to continuing that legacy and ensuring that every voice is heard and acted upon,” said Tejinder Pal Singh Aman. |
