SAMBA, Oct 13: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Samba Police has seized five vehicles including 04 dumpers in the jurisdiction of Police Stations Samba, Ghagwal and Ramgarh which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police teams headed by SHO PS Ramgarh, SHO PS Ghagwal, SHO PS Vijaypur and Incharges of Police Posts Supwal & Mansar of PS Samba while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized four dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK21G-5674, JK21H-9222, JK21J-7583,JK02CJ-5591 and a tractor trolley bearing registration No. JK08M-9526 which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
The above mentioned vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action. |
