| Notorious drug peddler arrested, heroin recovered | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Oct 13: Continuing its drive against the drug menace, Police party of PS Rehambal during patrolling duty in the Chak area noticed one person coming on foot from Mageni towards Chak Morh. On seeing the police party, the said person tried to hide himself which created suspicion but was swiftly apprehended by the patrolling team.
The accused was identified as Chetan S/o Lt. Ashok Kumar R/o Balmiki Colony, Chopra Shop Tehsil & District Udhampur. During his personal search, 6.12 grams of heroin (narcotic substance) along with a polypouch was recovered from his possession.
In this regard, Case FIR No. 165/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act stands registered at Police Station Rehambal and the investigation has been taken up. |
