| Udhampur Police secures conviction in Duo Murder Case; accused sentenced to life imprisonment, fine of Rs 50,000/- | | |

Udhampur, Oct 14: Udhampur Police has successfully secured conviction of two accused persons involved in a brutal duo murder case registered at Police Station Panchari.
The case pertains to FIR No. 34/2015 U/S 302 IPC of Police Station Panchari in which accused Kaka Ram S/O Nek Ram and Khem Raj S/O Isher Dass both residents of Panchari, had committed the murder of a father and son (Siraj Din S/O Jamal Din & Biniya S/O Siraj Din) duo over a land dispute.
After thorough investigation, Udhampur Police produced the charge-sheet before the Hon’ble Court of Law.
Today, the Hon’ble Principal & Sessions Judge Udhampur convicted both accused for commission of the offence under Section 302 IPC. They have been sentenced to undergo life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 50,000/- each.
