JAMMU, Oct 14: Bharatiya Janata Party senior leader and former Vice Chairman of the Jammu & Kashmir SC, ST, BC Development Corporation, Balbir Ram Rattan, extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Vivek Patyal, the newly elected Chairman of the Mahakali Shopkeepers' Union, Bahu Fort, Jammu.
Balbir Ram Rattan said that Vivek Patyal has earned the trust of the local business community through years of hard work, honesty, and dedication to service, and as a result, he has been entrusted with this important responsibility. He expressed hope that Vivek Patyal would work with full commitment and transparency to address the issues faced by shopkeepers.
Balbir Ram Rattan further stated that the Mahakali Shopkeepers' Union, located in Bahu Fort, Jammu, holds significance not only from a commercial perspective but also from religious and cultural viewpoints. Pilgrims and tourists who visit this area help keep the local businesses vibrant. In such a scenario, the leadership of the union going into the hands of a proactive and visionary individual is a positive sign for the organization.
He also said that with Vivek Patyal taking over as Chairman, the local shopkeepers would gain new energy and direction. Balbir expressed confidence that under new policies and creative initiatives, the union would become more organized and stronger.
