Samba, Oct 15: In continuation to its drive against the Absconders/Criminals, Samba Police apprehended an absconder wanted in a case registered under NDPS Act at Police Station Samba during the year 2019 and was evading his arrest for the last six years after issuance of arrest warrant against him by the Hon’ble Court Samba.
A Police team of Police Post Supwal of PS Samba succeeded in apprehending an absconder namely Shamas Din S/o Mohd. Yousaf R/o Rakh Barotian tehsil Vijaypur district Samba wanted in case FIR No. 77/2019 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act registered at PS Samba.
Accordingly, the said absconder was produced in the court of law and was sent to District Jail Kathua by the Hon'ble court Samba. Thus the arrest warrant u/s 512 CrPC issued against him got executed.
