Poonch, Oct 15: As part of Operation Sadbhavana, the Army Goodwill School (AGS), Potha, proudly organized its Annual Sports Day from 13 to 14 October 2025.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across all classes, who competed keenly in a diverse range of athletic and team events, including the 50-meter sprint, Tug-of-war, Badminton, Volleyball, Basketball, Jalebi Race, Triple Jump, Sack Race and Kho-Kho, among others.
The competitions reflected high levels of energy, discipline and sportsmanship, with each participant displaying remarkable enthusiasm and team spirit. Winners were felicitated with medals and prizes, acknowledging both individual excellence and collective effort.
A total of 398 students and 26 staff members participated in the two-day celebration. The Principal of AGS Potha, along with staff from neighbouring schools, graced the occasion and lauded the students for their dedication, perseverance and competitive spirit. The event not only highlighted the sporting talent of the young learners but also reinforced the values of discipline, teamwork. |
