Jammu, Oct 15: Department of Computer Applications in collaboration with Skill Committee of GDC Ramban organized workshop on SWAYAM – a National initiative by the Ministry of Education, Govt. of Inida.
The workshop was inaugurated by Prof. Satish Kumar, Principal, who emphasized the importance of integrating digital learning tools like SWAYAM into Higher Education.
He motivated the students to take full benefit of such opportunities to enhance their skill set. The resource persons for today’s programme were Prof. Aditya Sharma, HOD Computer Applications, Prof. Ram Parkash, HOD Mathematics and Dr. Vishal Baloria, HOD History.
The resource persons introduced the participants to the various features of SWAYAM portal including registration and credit transfer system under NEP 2020. A hands on training was also provided to the students to navigate and utilized the platform in a proper way.
The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from students who expressed keen interest in adopting SWAYAM courses for academic enrichment. The event concluded with the vote of thanks by Dr. Anuj Gupta, HOD Geography.
