| 67% KPs set to miss poll bus | | M-FORM HURDLE | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU: Out of total 5982 votes only 2084 M-forms were received by the office of Assistant Returning Officer (ARO) of migrants for the fifth and final phase of Lok Sabha election schedule tomorrow for Baramula Parliamentary Constituency at all notified polling booths official sources informed. Out of remaining 37% voters who are entitled to cats their votes remains a matter worth to watch as KPs are angry with Election Commission of India for introducing cumbersome and hectic procedure of M-form system for which entire community expressed resentment widely. Going by the bizarre episode of fourth phase wherein migrant voters of Srinagar Parliamentary Constituency found their names missing from the voter lists despite filling M-forms. Protesting which voters were subjected to cane charging of which leaders of all social organization of KPs and various political parties condemned widely besides various KPs organizations protested against police atrocities and Election Commission of India at Jantar-Mantar in Delhi. Sources within community in Delhi informed that KPs over there have given complete boycott call and it is expected that no voting in Delhi will take place as there are not so much so conduits of political parties. Fourth phase turnout was recorded ever low as 8% and predictions for the fifth phase are expected more low as Panun Kashmir in coordination with other several parties have already given boycott call. “What the hell democracy, we have lost our house and who cared about us for the last twenty years. We are being deprived for basic amenities even today and particularly for KP community exercising franchise is futile in totally” said a migrant Ashok Kumar and added those who go out to cast vote does not belong to the community as they are only those who follow their masters voice for their vested interests at cost community’s existence. Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu K. Rajindra while talking to Early Times said that fool proof security arrangements have been made on all the polling booths and security personals are out there alertly to deal any situation if occurs. He said nothing untoward is expected as per the rteports so far. “We want to vote for Sajjad Lone as his father Abdul Gani Lone has helped a lot to Kp community during his days. Besides after his father’s assassination Sajjad was left alone by his brother and Hurriyat companions and above all by taking bold decision to contest election a ray of hope for developed for the returning of KPs to their native constituency” said Bushan Lal Pandita of Guchhi in Kupwara originally and presently at Bhori Talab Tillo.
