| Asha workers demand higher wages | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT KISHTWAR, MAY 13: A deputation of Asha workers association of the district led by its president of the association today met the district development commissioner G.R Bhagat and submitted a memorandum highlighting the genuine demands of the Asha workers. The main demand of the worker’s to increase the wages from present Rs 600 to Rs 3000 per month, keeping in view the price hike of essential items of daily use, beside the nature of job takes long time. They also demanded that the workers be given proper training at concerned district hospital about the latest techniques to adopt at the time of delivery. Among others present on the occasion were CMO, Subash Bhagat, Superintendent Medical Officer, T. R Moza and BMO Ajay Gupta.
