Early Times Report POONCH, Oct 20: In a continued effort to strengthen civil-military relations and foster mutual trust, the Indian Army organised an interaction with members of the Gujjar and Bakkarwal communities at Poshana, Kulali, District Poonch. The event served as a platform for open dialogue, allowing community members to directly engage with the Indian Army and discuss local concerns, including the prevailing security situation in the region. The interaction provided an opportunity for both sides to address challenges faced in the remote and rugged terrain. A total of 118 locals participated, and their feedback highlighted the deep appreciation for the Indian Army's ongoing efforts in providing medical assistance, promoting education and encouraging youth participation in sports and development initiatives. The key focus of the event was the shared responsibility between the Indian Army and the local populace in combating terrorism, as well as promoting lasting peace and stability in the region.
