| Court frames charges against 2 sheep husbandry officials | | | Early Times Report Jammu, May13- Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu BL Bhat today framed charges against Dr. Kamaljeet Singh APO of Sheep Husbandry Department and Om Parkash Toofan Flock Supervisor of the same department for causing undue loss to the state exchequer. According to the charges against Kamal Jeet Singh that in summer session of 1997 vide he was posted as APO in migratory sheep project Hira Nagar/ Bhaderwah, put up his camp office at Paddar without proper permission from Director Sheep Husbandry Jammu. However, he did not stay at the camp office except for five days but had drawn compensatory allowance for the full period from June 15, 1997 to August 31, 1997 Rs 3225 and Rs.2484 as TA fraudulently by misusing his official position to which he was not entitled and thereby causing loss to the state exchequer. Om Parkash Toofan Flock Supervisor who was entrusted 78 Government Rams shifted to Paddar area for grazing and during the period May 1997 to August 1997 and misappropriated 12 rams in connivance with Dr. Kamaljeet Singh with dishonest intention of cheating, which were falsely reflected as dead and deleted from the record without any justification resulting in loss of Rs 18000 to the state exchequer. The charges were framed u/s 5(1) (c) r/w 5(2) PC Act 2006 BK and section 409,468 and 120-B RPC. JNF
