Aijaz demands time bound magisterial enquiry

Jammu, May 13- Expressing serious concern over Karnala Chak incident, senior Congress leader and MLA Gool-Arnas Aijaz Ahmed Khan today demanded time bound high level magisterial enquiry into the incident.
Aijaz, while visiting Karnaila Chak to take stock of the situation, assured the Gujjars for full support and justice from the present coalition government. He said government should take stern action against the guilty officials of Jammu Police and Forest Department for brutal action against Gujjars. He, however, said that administration should apologies to Gujjar community by taking moral responsibility of the inhuman and ruthless action against Gujjars. The MLA stated that some anti-social elements are trying to disrupt Tribal Status of Gujjars and state government should take stern action against them.
Khan demanded adequate compensation to the affected families, besides magisterial enquiry into the incident and stern action against the erring officials and officers. He also stressed upon the State Government to ensure that no such incident should occur in future.
