Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Oct 22: Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) State President Jammu and Kashmir, Vivek Bali, has urged the Government to waive off all Kisan Credit Card (KCC) loans of farmers who have suffered heavy losses due to floods, landslides, and incessant rainfall across the Union Territory. In a statement issued to the media, Vivek Bali said that the recent natural calamities have caused extensive damage to crops, farmlands, and infrastructure, pushing the farming community into severe financial distress. "Farmers are the backbone of our economy, and at this moment of crisis, the government must stand with them by waiving KCC loans and providing immediate financial relief," he said. He further appealed to the administration to conduct an on-ground assessment of losses and ensure quick compensation for affected families, particularly in the rural and hilly areas where the damage is most severe. Vivek Bali reiterated that the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party will continue to raise the voice of farmers and ensure that their demands are met with urgency and compassion. |
