BUDGAM, Oct 23: District Legal Services Authority, Budgam, under the aegis of J&K Legal Services Authority, organized a Special Lok Adalat on Cheque Bounce Cases today at the District Court Complex, Budgam, as well as at the Taluka Courts of District Budgam.
The Special Lok Adalat was held under the Chairmanship of Chairman, District Legal Services Authority (Principal District & Sessions Judge), Budgam, O.P. Bhagat and under the supervision of Civil Judge (Senior Division)/Secretary DLSA Budgam, Nusrat Ali Hakak
In this Special Lok Adalat, each Court had identified cases beforehand, which were thereafter placed before Seven Benches constituted by DLSA Budgam for settlement.
During the Special Lok Adalat, a total of 48 Cheque Bounce Cases were taken up for amicable settlement, out of which 7 cases were settled with a settlement amount of Rs 26, 23,000. |
