| 2-day symposium on ‘North Tech-09’ concludes | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 13- The 2-day symposium “North Tech-09” on safety and security technologies conducted at Udhampur under the aegis of the Army’s Northern Command concluded today. The symposium was inaugurated by Lt Gen PC Bhardwaj, and showcased a large number of innovations developed by Army units which enhance the effectiveness of weapon systems and equipment as also modern products related to safety and security of troops by various manufactures and vendors.
A compendium of innovative engineering solutions relevant to Army units was released by the Army Commander.
The symposium was visited by a large number of military dignitaries and even school children evinced keen interest.
At the conclusion of the symposium prizes were awarded to the best innovations in various categories.
