UDHAMPUR, Oct 24: Continuing its unwavering drive against drug peddlers under the ongoing War on Drugs, Udhampur Police today executed a PITNDPS warrant issued against Akhilesh Sharma @ Leshi, son of Vipan Kumar R/O Indra Nagar, Udhampur.
The warrant was issued under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (PITNDPS) Act for his repeated involvement in drug peddling activities. The accused has been detained and lodged as per due legal procedure.
With this, Udhampur Police has executed the 15th PITNDPS warrant of the year and 3rd of the week, reaffirming its commitment to a drug-free society.
