JAMMU, Oct 25: The Jammu & Kashmir Junior Girls Throwball Team left for Viramgam, Gujarat, to participate in the 33rd Junior National Throwball Championship 2025, held from 24th to 26th October 2025.
The team comprised 12 talented players - Rizwana, Qamreen, Ahla, Adeena, Rehana Batool, Rehana Fatima, Farzana, Rafika, Nooriya Banoo, Naira Jan, Sugra, and Qalbi Sakeena - under the guidance of Team Coach Mr. Vilayat Hussain and Team Manager Ms. Sana.
The J&K girls displayed commendable sportsmanship, competing against strong teams from Telangana, Haryana, and Tamil Nadu, and reached the quarterfinals of the championship.
Mr. Govind Raj, General Secretary of the Throwball Federation of India (TFI), along with other officials, congratulated the J&K team for their spirited performance and dedication.
