BARAMULLA, Oct 25: Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, today flagged off a rally from the Old Hospital complex Baramulla (CMO Office) under the Tobacco Free Youth Campaign 3.0, an initiative aimed at creating awareness against tobacco use among youth.
The campaign, being organized by the Chief Medical Officer Baramulla under the aegis of the Directorate of Health Services Kashmir and National Health Mission, seeks to prevent initiation of tobacco use among youth, promote cessation among users, and strengthen enforcement of tobacco control laws. Chief Medical Officer Baramulla, Dr. A.G. Raina, District Health Officer, Dr. Bhajan Kour and other officials were present on the occasion.
