Jammu May 13 : Birthday of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, a renowned spiritual Guru and multi-faceted humanitarian, was celebrated with gaiety and fervour in Jammu and all over the as well country today.
Sri Sri, the founder of International Art of Living Foundation and the driving force behind International Association for Human Values, turned fifty three today.
The Art of Living fraternity in Jammu organised several programmes, in tune with the organisation to commemorate the occasion. A concert of divine music was organised in the evening at Abhinav Theatre, a small meditation session, a recital performance by Ms Rajshree Das, a renowned singer from Kolkatta etc.
Earlier, a ‘mahakriya’, camp was organised at Chaitnya Ashram, Talab Tilloo, Jammu, and organizing a chabeel at Indira Chowk while some volunteers visited Home for Mentally Challenged and Home for Visually Impaired Girls to celebrate the day with the inmates.
