| Bovine smuggling attempt foiled, couple of bovines rescued | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Oct 25: Udhampur Police have rescued 02 Bovines in the jurisdiction of PS Chenani. Team of Police Station Chenani led by its SHO have foiled one bovine smuggling bid in which 02 bovines were rescued from the vehicle bearing regd. No. JK19A-0848 without any valid permission. Driver of the vehicle namely Tariq Ahmed Sohil S/O Ghulam Mohd. R/O Banihal, Ramban has been arrested on spot.
Both the bovines were rescued and have been shifted to a safer place.
In this regards, case FIR No. 105/2025 under relevant sections of law stand registered at Police Station Chenani.
