JAMMU, Oct 25: Under the banner of Duggar Manch, a special literary event was organized today at the Writers' Club Jammu to launch the Dogri poetry collection "Teri Akkhiyen Ch Sansar Mera" written by Dr.. Poonam Sharma.
The event was graced by several eminent literary personalities. Padma Mohan Singh presided over the function , while Dr. Padam Dev Singh Associate professor of jammu university was Chief guest. On this occasion, P.L. Parihar Shok presented a comprehensive paper on the book, analyzing its poetic depth, emotional resonance, and the significance of its contribution to modern Dogri literature.
During the event, the speakers highly appreciated Poonam Sharma's poetic expression, her command over the Dogri language, and her creative efforts to promote and preserve the rich heritage of Dogri culture through her writings.
A special mention"was made of the constant support and encouragement extended by Nirmal vikram ji who conducted program very well mannered. His contribution was warmly acknowledged by everyone present.
The launch ceremony witnessed an engaging exchange of thoughts among Dogri writers, poets, and literary enthusiasts. The atmosphere was filled with admiration and respect for Dr. Poonam Sharma remarkable work, which has added another valuable gem to Dogri literature. A musical program basen on the songs form the released book was also presented where Dr. Poonam Sharma herself presented her own written songs.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the organizers of Duggar Manch, expressing gratitude to all guests, participants, and attendees for making the occasion a memorable celebration of Dogri language, literature, and culture. |
