| Shia Federation holds meeting at Imambargah Aaliya | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 25: The Shia Federation Province Jammu convened an important meeting on 24th October 2025 at Imambargah Aaliya, Poonch, under the chairmanship of Syed Nazir Hussain Shah, President of the Federation.
Dr. Syed Nusrat Hussain Kazmi presented the agenda and conducted the proceedings of the meeting, which witnessed enthusiastic participation and was well organized.
The meeting focused on reviewing the objectives and ongoing activities of the Federation and deliberated upon strategies to achieve the set goals. Participants discussed in detail the challenges confronting the community, particularly unemployment among youth, and proposed measures for their empowerment and social upliftment.
A significant part of the discussion centered around the growing menace of drug addiction among the youth. The house unanimously resolved to work actively to eradicate this social evil through awareness campaigns, counseling initiatives, and coordination with relevant agencies to safeguard the future of the younger generation.
In his presidential address, Syed Nazir Hussain Shah emphasized the importance of unity, coordination, and collective efforts in addressing community issues and achieving the Federation's aims. He urged all members to remain committed to social service and constructive engagement.
The President also highlighted the need to collaborate with other communities to promote communal harmony and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, which are vital for peace and national integration.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks, followed by the inauguration of the Sub-Office of the Shia Federation at Poonch, marking a new milestone in the Federation's organizational growth and outreach. |
