MALIGAON, Oct 26: N. F. Railway will be observing the Vigilance Awareness Week from 27th October to 2nd November, 2025 throughout all its Divisions, Workshops and Construction field units. The theme for the observance this year is "Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility." The observance follows the directives of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) and forms part of a broader three-month campaign from 18th August to 17th November 2025, aimed at reinforcing preventive vigilance measures across the zone. The objective is to strengthen the culture of integrity, transparency and accountability at all levels of railway functioning. The observance will commence at the NFR Headquarters in Maligaon with the administration of the Integrity Pledge in front of the General Manager's Office, followed by a street play (Nukkad Natak) to engage employees and the public in promoting ethical values and transparency. At the Headquarters of the Construction Organization, similar activities will be organized concurrently. Across the entire zone, all Divisional Railway Managers (DRMs) will administer the integrity pledge in their respective divisions, ensuring the participation of railway employees from every department and level. During the week-long observance, various programmes will be conducted across the zone to create awareness among railway employees and the general public. Interactive sessions and seminars on vigilance-related topics will be held on 28th October at the Rangiya Division. On 29th October, essay writing, drawing and painting competitions will be organized at Railway Higher Secondary School, Netaji Vidyapeeth Railway Higher Secondary School and Kendriya Vidyalaya, Maligaon, focusing on the central theme.
