Early Times Report RAMGARH, Oct 27: Government Degree College Ramgarh successfully organised a Poster Making Competition under the NCORD initiative, promoting the national campaign "Nasha Mukta Bharat". The event conducted under the guidance of principal of the college Prof. (Dr.) Meeru Abrol aimed to raise awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and encourage youth to take a strong stand against drugs. The theme of the competition was "Say No to Drugs". The programme was coordinated by Dr. Snobar, Convener NCORD who motivated students to creatively express their ideas on drug-free living. Prof. Sandeep Kumari Head of Department of Education and Dr. Bisat Tariq, Department of Sociology, were also present during the event and appreciated the enthusiastic participation of the students. A large number of students took part in the competition and presented thoughtful and impactful posters. Based on creativity, message clarity, and presentation, the top performers were adjudged as follows: 1st Position: Harmandeep Kaur of B.A. Semester 5th, 2nd Position: Anjali of B.A. Semester 5th and 3rd Position: Suhani Choudhary of B.A. Semester 1st. Dr. Snobar congratulated the winners and applauded all participants for conveying a strong message against drug abuse.
