Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 28: Bharat Vikas Parishad organised the National Group Song Competition 2025 at St. Xavier Convent School, Barnai, Jammu, where students from various schools participated with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The event was graced by Dr. Daleep Kumar, Director, Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), who attended as the chief guest and applauded the participants for showcasing unity and cultural richness through music. St. Xavier Convent School, Barnai bagged the First Prize, while MHS Nagbani secured the Second, and Government Middle High School, Barnai won the Third Prize. The Consolation Prize went to KS Public School, Muthi. The panel of judges included Kapil Anirudh (Assistant Director, Handicraft, Ministry of Textiles), Ambika Sambyal (Assistant Director, Ministry of Textiles), and Sooraj Sharma (Akashvani Artist). The event was organised under the guidance of Arun Sharma (Regional Joint Secretary, Bharat Vikas Parishad, Northern Region), Jagmohan Sharma (Secretary, Bharat Vikas Parishad), along with Sewa Das Digra, C.M. Sharma, Arvind Khajuria, Balwant Singh, Vinod Kumar, and Mr. Satpal Sharma. Speaking on the occasion, the Principal of St. Xavier Convent School congratulated the students and said, "It is a proud moment for our school.
