JAMMU, Oct 28: Today on 28.10.2025, Cyber Security/ Cyber Awareness Program was organized by Cyber Crime Investigation Centre for Excellence (CICE), Crime Headquarters Jammu in collaboration with Government College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu
The resource persons for the program were Sh. Ramnish Gupta- JKPS, SSP CICE, J&K, and Mrs Albeena Malik JKPS, DySP CICE Jammu.
The session began with an informative presentation by DySP Albeena Malik, who highlighted the nature and types of cybercrimes, emphasizing the alarming rise in cyber threats, online frauds, other social media crimes with special emphasis women related offences and where to report.
Ramnish Gupta-JKPS, in his address, enlightened the students about various real-life Cyber Frauds occurring in Jammu and Kashmir. He also shared valuable strategies to stay safe in the digital world, urging students to "beat the fear to beat the cheat". |
