Bovine smuggling attempt foiled, 09 bovines rescued 10/28/2025 9:31:55 PM Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, Oct 28: Acting swiftly on reliable information, Police team of P/S Ramnagar intercepted a Mahindra Load Carrier bearing registration No. JK14J-3924 which was being driven by an unknown driver along with an unknown co-driver. The vehicle was found transporting 09 bovine animals in a cruel and inhumane manner from Kulwanta towards Srinagar without any valid permission. Upon receiving the information, a police party immediately swung into action and established a naka to intercept the said vehicle. The smugglers, upon noticing the police, tried to flee from the spot leaving the vehicle behind. The vehicle along with 09 bovine animals has been rescued/seized on the spot.
