Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 28: The Zonal Police Headquarters (ZPHQ) Jammu observed the commencement of Vigilance Awareness Week-2025 with the organization of an Integrity Pledge Ceremony, reaffirming the Jammu and Kashmir Police's steadfast commitment to integrity, transparency, and accountability in public service. During the ceremony, all officers and officials of ZPHQ Jammu took a solemn pledge to uphold ethical values in both professional and personal conduct. They resolved to perform their duties with honesty, impartiality, and fairness while rejecting and reporting any form of corruption to foster a transparent and corruption-free work culture. Shri Bhim Sen Tuti, IPS, Inspector General of Police, Jammu Zone, administered the Integrity Pledge to all participants. The IGP emphasized that vigilance is not confined to a week-long observance but is a continuous process requiring personal integrity and institutional transparency. He urged all officers and officials to remain alert against corruption, exercise fairness in decision-making, and contribute towards building a corruption-free system. The Vigilance Awareness Week, observed annually under the aegis of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), seeks to sensitize citizens and public servants alike about the adverse impact of corruption and to inspire proactive participation in eradicating it.
