Jammu, Oct 29: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Rohiin Chandan today asserted that Hindi is not merely a word or a language but a vibrant and living culture that embodies the soul of India. Chandan hailed the transformative leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, under whose dynamic vision Hindi is rapidly emerging as a powerful symbol of India’s global identity. “Hindi is not a word—it is a culture, a way of life, a reflection of our ancient heritage and modern aspirations,” Chandan declared. “Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India’s linguistic pride is resonating across the world. Hindi’s voice is no longer confined to the borders of our nation—it is echoing on every global platform, from the United Nations to BRICS and G20 summits.” He emphasized that PM Modi has consistently projected India’s cultural richness and linguistic diversity with unparalleled pride on the international stage. “Whether addressing the United Nations General Assembly or engaging with world leaders at multilateral forums, PM Modi speaks with the confidence of a civilization that stands tall. Hindi, as the heartbeat of India’s cultural narrative, is now being recognized and respected worldwide,” he added. Highlighting the growing global footprint of the language, Chandan pointed out that the prestigious World Hindi Conference, once primarily organized within India, is now being hosted in foreign nations, symbolizing the language’s expanding influence. “This is a testament to the BJP-led government’s commitment to elevating Hindi’s stature on the global map,” he said. He further revealed that over one billion people across the world speak and understand Hindi, making it one of the most widely used languages globally. “This is not just a statistic—it is a celebration of our linguistic unity and diversity,” Chandan remarked. “From the villages of Uttar Pradesh to the diaspora communities in the United States, United Kingdom, Fiji, Mauritius, and beyond, Hindi binds millions in a shared cultural thread.” In a significant revelation, Rohiin Chandan noted that Hindi has been incorporated into the academic curriculum of more than 200 universities worldwide. “This is a proud moment for every Indian. Our mother tongue is now being studied, researched, and taught in leading institutions across continents. This academic recognition is a direct outcome of the proactive policies of the Modi government,” he stated. He credited the BJP-led govt for enhancing India’s global prestige through cultural diplomacy and linguistic promotion. The world is witnessing a resurgent India—confident and rooted in its heritage—highlighted by initiatives like promoting Hindi on digital platforms, translating technical literature, and integrating Hindi in international conferences. |
