Police continue to organizes district-wide events to mark Rashtriya Ekta Diwas

Samba, Oct 30: As a part of celebration of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) commemorating the 150th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, popularly known as the “Iron Man of India”, Samba Police organized series of events across the district in consecutive day at Police Stations level to honor his legacy and promote the spirit of national unity.
Police Station Vijaypur: As part of the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrations, a cleanliness drive was jointly organized in and around AIIMS Vijaypur by the Samba Police in collaboration with the staff of AIIMS Vijaypur. The drive aimed to promote the spirit of national unity, public responsibility and environmental awareness among citizens. Police Station Ramgarh: A symposium on “Rashtriya Ekta: Unity in diversity” was held at Modern Institute of Education and Research, Koulpur Ramgarh drawing enthusiastic participation from over 150 students and faculty members. Eight students delivered insightful speeches on the topic. The top three speaker students were rewarded suitably for their outstanding presentations. Police Station Ghagwal: A symposium on “The Life, Vision, and Inspiration of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel” was organized at Government Higher Secondary School Rajpura with around 100 students and faculty members in attendance. Four students participated, expressing Patel’s enduring influence on India’s unity and governance. All the speaker students were presented with rewards.
