R S Pura, Nov 1: Govt. Degree College R.S. Pura successfully celebrated Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 under the theme of Vigilance – Our shared responsibility. The week-long programme was organised by the Vigilance Awareness Committee to promote transparency, ethical values, and responsibility among students. The celebration commenced with the Integrity Pledge administered to staff and students, followed by a series of awareness-oriented activities including poster-making, slogan-writing, an Integrity Tree activity, and a human chain formation to reinforce the message of honesty and accountability. Students also attended an interactive awareness lecture by officials from the Police Department, highlighting preventive vigilance and ethical conduct in public life. A documentary on anti-corruption awareness was screened to help participants understand the importance of being vigilant citizens. Principal Dr. Preetpal Kour appreciated the enthusiastic participation of students and encouraged them to uphold ethical values in personal and professional life. The activities were coordinated by Convenor Prof. Geetika Goswami, along with committee members Prof. Lukesha Dubgotra, Dr. Renu Sharma, Dr. Kiran Lata, Dr. Gurleen Kour, and Ms. Roma Gandhi, who actively contributed to the successful conduct of the events. Govt. Degree College R.S. Pura remains committed to fostering transparency, accountability, and integrity, enabling students to become responsible and vigilant citizens of the nation.
