  Kishtwar, Nov 3: Under the directions of SSP Kishtwar, Sh. Naresh Singh-JKPS, Kishtwar Police organized a Cyber Awareness Programme at Baba Ghulam Shah Nursing College, Kishtwar, to educate students about cyber safety and responsible online behavior.  IC Cyber Police Station Kishtwar, Insp. Imtiyaz Ahmed, along with expert PSI Moin Khan, delivered an informative presentation highlighting cybercrime cases successfully resolved by the police and briefed participants on various types of cyber threats. They emphasized safe online practices, urging students to be cautious while using social media, conducting online transactions, and browsing the internet.  Participants were also informed about government initiatives such as the 1930 Cyber Helpline, Cybercrime.gov.in for complaint registration, Sanchar Saathi for reporting fraud calls, and the CEIR Portal for recovering lost mobile phones.  The Principal, faculty, and students expressed their gratitude to Kishtwar Police for organizing the event, which enhanced awareness about cyber hygiene and digital security. The programme was attended by PSI Bhupinder Singh, PSI Preeti Sani, and other staff members of the college.  |
